What is miofori and what are its functions?

miofori is a modern social platform designed for connecting, sharing, and engaging with your community in a privacy-focused, user-friendly manner.

Key features include:

• Add friends: Connect with people you know and keep in touch through private chats.
• Create friend groups: Make secret friend groups for your closest friends, each with its own group chat for easy communication. Friend groups are limited to 50 members.
• Join public or private groups: Find and join groups based on your interests. Private groups require approval to join, while public groups are open to all.
• Create public or private groups: You can create groups and adjust its settings to various degrees.
  • Public groups are open for anyone to join and see the content.
  • Private groups require approval to join, and only members can see the content.
  • Group post settings - choose if: "members can post", "posts require admin approval" or "only admins can post"
• Create and attend events: Organize events or join events hosted by others in your groups or circles.

Privacy by design:

• Other users cannot see your friends list.
• Other users are not notified when you engage with a post, join a group, or become friends with someone.
• You will not receive friend suggestions - but you can search for other users, or you can meet people in real life and agree to become friends on miofori, which we hope you will! Each user has a 'Unique username', and you can find and edit yours where you <link>edit your profile</link>. When searching for users you can enter their unique username prefixed with <strong>#</strong> in the search field (ie. #unique-username), and then you are sure to find exactly the user you are looking for if there is match.

miofori is built to give you control over your social experience, without unwanted exposure or algorithmic suggestions.

How do I create an account?

Click the <link>Create new user</link> button on the login page and fill out the registration form. You will need a valid email address to verify your account.

Is my data private and secure?

Yes. miofori is built with privacy in mind. Your data is never sold, and you control your privacy settings at all times.

How do I reset my password?

To reset your password go to your <link>edit profile page</link> and click the "Reset password" button. Or, you can click "forgot password" on the login page, and then follow the instructions to reset your password securely.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from your <link>Profile Settings</link> page. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
